1.       Fruits

You can eat them on their own instead of with other dishes in terms of vegetables and fruits. For the best outcome, have a suitable fruit type 30 minutes before your meal or meal.

4.       Grains

Grains are an essential part of any diet, and there are rules under this food group. Essentially, avoid millet, corn, buckwheat, rye, polenta, yeasted bread, and brown rice. Instead, opt for quinoa, barley, oats, wheat bran, pancakes, couscous, granola, wheat, and Basmati rice. Of course, there are some more suitable types of grains as well.

5.       Dairy products

Some of Pitta Dosha individuals' best dairy products include cottage cheese, unsalted butter, goat's cheese, cow's milk, goat's milk, ice cream, and yoghurt. On the other hand, avoid buttermilk, salted butter, sour cream, preservative or fruit-based yoghurt types, and frozen yoghurt.

8.       Spices

Favourable ones include coriander, black pepper, basil, ginger, fennel, orange peel, mint, peppermint, saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, dill, vanilla, and parsley. On the other hand, stay away from using rosemary, sage, thyme, salt, cloves, mace, fenugreek, nutmeg, hing, garlic, bay leaves, and mustard seeds.

9.       Oils

Much like spices, oils are an integral part of cooking. Suitable ones are sunflower oil, primrose oil, olive oil, flaxseed oil, coconut oil, ghee, soy oil, and walnut oil. Also, avoid sesame oil, almond oil, apricot oil, and corn oil.
